Product Demonstrations:
Product Demonstrations are designed to educate the consumer on how a particular product is used, worn, or works and how that product can benefit the consumer. Sometimes called "brand ambassadors", demonstrators must be enthusiastic, outgoing, professional individuals who enjoy interacting with the public.

Mystery Shopping:
Mystery Shopping is a method companies use to measure the quality of service that the consumer receives. Mystery Shoppers pose as average consumers, complete the requested task and report findings back to the client according to the client's parameters. The information received helps the client improve customer service.

Product Sampling:
Product Sampling is a method used to get samples of the product into the hands of the consumer and to educate the consumer on the benefits of the product. Sometimes called "brand ambassadors", samplers must be enthusiastic, outgoing individuals who enjoy interacting with the public.

Retailtainment:
Retailtainment (retail entertainment) is a method used to generate enthusiasm about a product or service and create an exciting shopping experience. Retailtainment specialists are extremely outgoing and enjoy being "on stage" in a retail environment.

Costume Character:
Costume Character representatives enjoy dressing and playing a particular role. Costume characters can dress as anything from clowns to hippos and enjoy interacting with the public, especially children.

Focus Groups:
Focus Groups are groups of consumers who fit a certain profile and are willing to share their opinion about a particular product or service in order to help the manufacturer or service provider improve their product. Focus Groups can be conducted via phone, internet, or live and in person.

Surveys:
Surveyors are individuals stationed at retail locations who are responsible for encouraging the consumer to participate in a brief Q & A to measure customer satisfaction. Surveyors are aggressive, outgoing individuals who don't mind a little rejection.

Tabling:
Tabling representatives are individuals who are at a table at retail, event or festival locations and are typically promoting enrollment/sign-ups for a product or service. These reps must be very aggressive and typically are paid based on performance.

Cold-Call Take-One Distribution:
Take-ones are brochures or flyers that invite the consumer to "Take-One" to learn a little more about a product or service. Distribution representatives usually walk the streets and ask merchants permission to place a display in the location. Take-One representatives are highly motivated self-starters who can set goals, meet deadlines and can handle rejection. They are typically paid based on performance.

Event Marketing:
Event Marketers are representatives who conduct tabling (see tabling) at special events to promote a product or service and generate applications or enrollments. This is a fast paced environment and takes an aggressive, energetic person. Pay is usually based on performance.

Model/Talent:
Modeling/Talent representatives have a particular look or talent that is needed and requested for certain promotions. Headshots must be submitted.

Merchandising:
Merchandising is the positioning of a product in the best manner to help that product generate more sales. Merchandisers set up, display or rearrange the product according to client specifications in various retail locations.
